Terms of use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply when you use travelelli.com, a travel blog run by Elli and Simon from Estonia. By using the site you agree to them. Questions: travelelli@sumerch.com.

Our content

Everything we write is our own experience and opinion. Prices, opening hours, routes, visa rules and hotel quality change, often faster than we update posts. Check the details yourself before you book or travel. We're not responsible for trips, bookings or decisions you make based on our posts.

Photos and text

The text and photos on this site belong to us unless a post says otherwise. You're welcome to share a link or quote a short part with credit and a link back. Please don't copy whole posts or use our photos without asking first.

Memberships and payments

Some posts are for paying members. Paid memberships renew automatically every month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods.

Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because a membership gives you digital content straight away, you agree when you subscribe that access starts immediately and that this ends your right of withdrawal. If something goes wrong with a payment, email us and we'll sort it out.

We may change membership prices. Existing members get at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to them.

Some posts are made with hotels, brands or tourism boards, and some links earn us a small commission if you book or buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We always say so in the post. We only recommend places we've been to and things we've used, and a sponsor never decides what we write. The site may also show ads from ad networks; we don't choose individual ads and don't endorse what they advertise.

Comments and messages

If we open comments, keep them respectful and on topic. We remove spam, abuse and anything illegal, and we may block accounts that post it.

We link to hotels, restaurants, booking sites and other pages we find useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

Liability

We run this blog with care, but it comes as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for losses caused by using the site or relying on its content. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Cookies

We use cookies as described in our privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Estonian law applies, and disputes go to the courts of Estonia, without affecting the consumer protection rules of the country you live in.
